Club chess on Fridays 13

Friday is the main club night of the area. In Leipzig the Schachgemeinschaft Leipzig opens its club evening at five, VfB Schach at six with the adults from seven, SG BiBaBo plays mostly twice a month, and the family chess club Randbauer meets in Plagwitz on the second and fourth Friday. In Halle-Neustadt the WSG plays from half past six at the Bürgerladen, with club tournaments on two evenings a month.

The towns keep the same rhythm. The TSG Markkleeberg trains children from five and adults from six, with a blitz on the second Friday and a rapid on the last; the Krostitzer SV has its children at the Vereinshaus zur Schule in Schenkenberg and its adults from half past seven. Taucha plays from seven to ten outside the school holidays, Großlehna at the Gasthof Jägerheim, Naunhof’s youth in the Parthelandhalle, Falkenhain and Bad Dürrenberg run youth and adult groups one after the other, and Altenhain trains its young players at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Grimma.
